Atlanta · 501(c)(3) · since 2020

We started by feeding seniors who couldn't leave the house. We never stopped.

Bynefit hands out groceries, sponsors kids at Christmas, and throws the neighborhood festival — and gets the pantries, schools, and churches doing this work the technology they could never afford on their own.

A 501(c)(3) public charity. We started as Bright1's Path in 2020, right here in Atlanta — and we've never taken a grant to get here.

What we actually do

Half of it, you can see. The other half is what makes the first half possible.

On the ground · since 2020

The part you can see

Groceries for a senior who can't get to the store. Gifts under the tree at Christmas. A festival that closes the street for an afternoon. This is where we started, and we're not going anywhere.

  • Food, meals, and senior outreach
  • Christmas on Us and holiday gift drives
  • School partnerships and sponsorships
  • Community festivals and county food delivery
Newer · and it's why we can do more

The part behind it

The pantry down the street runs on three volunteers and a spreadsheet from 2014. We give them the software, the laptops, and someone to set it all up — at a price a small nonprofit can actually say yes to.

  • The Bynli platform, at a fraction of retail
  • Donor-funded laptops and setups when money's tight
  • Donor portals, intake, dispatch, livestream and sound
  • IT, data, and someone to call when it breaks
Five years, mostly in Atlanta

This is the work.

We started in 2020 feeding seniors through the pandemic. Since then it's been Christmas mornings, school drives, festivals — and 475,000 people who got something they needed.

What the tech actually changed

When the software works, the mission gets bigger.

A church
more people watching the service

We built out the cameras, sound, and livestream. Four times as many people now catch it from home.

A meal program
1,200+
meals moved every week

A custom intake and dispatch system runs the whole county-contract route now — no more clipboards.

A school network
200+
laptops in kids' hands

A refurbished-device pipeline, set up and delivered with local schools. Homework stopped happening on phones.

The numbers, and they're real

Five years adds up.

Everything since we started in 2020. The directory below isn't a screenshot — it's live, the same one people use to find help right now.

How the tech part works

Priced so nobody has to choose between software and a meal.

A pantry director shouldn't be up at midnight fighting a database. Here's how we get real tools into their hands — some of it discounted, some of it free, none of it at the mission's expense.

Most pay a little

A price a nonprofit can say yes to

A church, a food bank, a school pays a fraction of what this software costs anyone else. Enough that it's truly theirs — little enough that it never competes with the work.

Some pay nothing

When even that's too much, you cover it

Sometimes a discount still isn't doable. That's when donations step in and pay for it outright — the refurbished laptops, the sound system, the whole setup.

We earn our own keep too

The model doesn't lean on donations alone

Through Bynefit Studios we take on production and design work for paying clients, then pour the profit back in. Your gift goes further because of it.

Your money, in plain terms

Here's exactly what a gift buys.

No overhead games, no vague "impact." Real things, for real people, this month.

What we're building next

One place to find help — whatever kind you need.

Right now, finding a meal, a bed, a clinic, or a job means knowing which of a hundred doors to knock on. Gateway puts them all behind one. We're raising $1M to build it.

We've done all this without a single grant. Imagine what happens when one shows up.

Ways to give

The steadiest thing you can do is give a little, every month.

Monthly gifts are what let us make promises — to keep a family's lights on, to tell an org yes before the grant comes through. Cancel whenever you want.

"I started this to feed seniors during COVID. What I kept seeing was good people doing hard work, drowning in tech they couldn't afford. Bynefit is how we fix that — together." — Racean Ford, Founder
